The new Marathon jacket and pant combination was designed for the most extreme and adventurous journeys. The Marathon line was in fact conceived and developed for the "CAPO" humanitarian fund raising trip which traversed the world from the North Cape of Norway to Cape Town, South Africa - from north to south of the world in all weather conditions, with temperatures ranging from - 22F (-30C) to 122F (+50C).
To ensure maximum versatility and total comfort, the Marathon jacket consists of three layers. The outer shell is made from extremely strong and abrasion resistant 220g Tenax Polyamide with areas of Tenax Flex stretch for added comfort; perforated mesh lining for improve breathability; reflective zones for visibility while night riding; dynamic air intakes on the sleeves, shoulders and rear for breathability; five external pockets (including two waterproof) and rear pocket for use of an optional Hydroback hydrating system. CE-approved Force-Tech protective pads on shoulders and elbows are included, while Spidi's optional Warrior Evo (CE level 2) back protector or Warrior back and chest protector (CE level 1) may be purchased separately. the second layer, which can be used as an independent jacket, is a waterproof breathable H2Out jacket, with a high collar for additional protection against the elements.
